Are electrical transistors a danger to live near?
Im building less then 200 feet away

I don't think this is the correct question.  Transistors are generally
small devices that run computers.  I suspect the word for this case is
"transformers."  As far as I know, transformers do not cause any harm
to human beings.  Them emit electromagnetic fields but the effects at
200 feet should be negligible on electronics and non-existent on
humans.

If the asker was asking about transformers, I for one live with a
transformer on a pole across the street. If the danger is radiation or
sudden sparks jumping on me, I haven't experienced that. Of course, if
the transformer shorts or bursts for any reason, that's when there is
a problem. It is a bit more hazardous when considering the possible
things that could go wrong with a transformer, but generally, it
probably has the same risk as being under any power line.
