Hi velb,

Not knowing your intent, you have a couple options:

User Logger - Freeware to log computer activity and screen shots
http://chemware.co.nz/usrlog.htm
Who used a computer - uniquely identify the user and computer
When they used it - exact dates and times
What they did:
See what programs they used
Take pictures of the screen
See what they typed (Registered version only)

'
Perfect Keylogger - easy to use solution for PC and Internet surveillance
http://www.blazingtools.com/bpk.html
There's 3 versions. The free one is fine for your needs.

Read about them both and decide. They're both great, and the price is right...

If I can be of further assistance in regards to monitoring computer
use, please don't hesitate to ask via the "Request For Clarification"
feature.

I'd like to know if there is anything in Win.XP prof itself that makes
log records of opened programs. Thank you.

Hi again velb,

It's unfortunate you didn't ASK IN YOUR ORIGINAL QUESTION IF WINDOWS
ITSELF had this capability. As it is, you have already rated my
answer. You didn't ask me to improve my answer before giving me a
rating. Maybe a commenter will help.

I want to correct my typo since English is not your first language.
My Clarification above was meant to say:

PS ----BOTH the programs I linked for you are FREEWARE, MEANING THEY
ARE BOTH FREE, NO CHARGE, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY, COST IS NOTHING.

I gave you the Answer you asked for in your posted Question. Your
original Question never asked for WINDOWS abilities.
