I am a big fan of weather & weather news. I would like to know where I can get good information/forecasting and accurate data from a website. Also, weather pictures would be great. I frequently visit Weather.com (useless website) and Accuweather.com (somewhat decent) but overall I am unsatisfied with these sites. Please let me know what you can. Thanks. And feel free to ask clarication questions if necessary. | |

A great place for detailed international and specialized weather is the NOAA site, especially if you're prepared to deal with TIFF and other image files: http://weather.noaa.gov/international.html You also might try UCAR: http://www.ucar.edu/ A suggested Google search strategy: university weather research Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |

If you are in the US, your taxes pay for the National Weather Service's website, so you might as well use it. I find that it is more comprehensive than most of the commercial ones. It can be a little confusing to navigate, but there's a lot there to explore. http://www.weather.gov/ |
