Here are golf-participation figures from 2003 from the National Golf Foundation:

Age   Total Blac Asian Hisp
18-29 15.5% 5.2% 13.0% 4.2%
30-39 17.9% 5.6% 12.7% 4.0%

What you have provided does not quite answer the question.  The
question is what % of Generation X (18-29) plays golf.  You answer
looks at it from a different question.  Your answer is what % of
golfers are between 18-29.  Do you see the difference?  I am really
looking for what % of 18-29 year olds play golf.

I think you're looking at the wrong page on the report. 19% of golf
participants are 18-29 (see page 5 of the report). 15.5% of
18-29-year-olds are golfers (see page 20).

That was pretty good.  Thank you.  The only reason it did not get 5
stars is that the 15.5% is the % for White folks, NOT the % of the
total population.  The table does not list total population.
