A few years ago, I used an online web application that would produce a map of a web site showing the linkages from one page to the next. There were settings that you could use to limit the depth of the links or whether you wanted to see the links to other sites. As I recall, it was also somewhat 3-dimensional. I'm looking for a site like that that would do the following: 1) (at a minimum)take any URL and show diagramatically the other pages on the site with lines connecting the names of pages that are linked; 2) (preferably) allow one to specify the number of clicks away from the home page to include in the diagram The visual thesaurus (www.visualthesaurus.com) is a good example of what the outcome should look like, although the content is entirely different. |
