When I am in Office, I would like to put shortcuts in the left column that currently shows Icons such as "My Computer", "My Documents", "Favorites". If I cannot edit or change these Icons, I would like to save it to area after I click "My computer". How can I do this? |

Hi stevegill, Here's how to add items to the "My Places" Bar: To add an item to the My Places bar, follow these steps: 1. On the File menu in any Office XP program, click Open. 2. In the Open dialog box, select the item that you want to add in the contents pane. Example: In the Look in list, click My Documents. In the contents pane, click My Pictures. 3. Click Tools, and then click Add to "My Places". Source: Microsoft Support http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;282087 I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions regarding my answer please don't hesitate to ask before rating. Best regards, Rainbow |
