Maybe she doesn't want to be made happy when she's angry. Maybe she wants to be good and angry. If she just likes being angry, she's already happy. If you've hurt or offended her, though, what she wants to know is that you are not really the boor or brute she now suspects you are. So behave more like the guy she wants to love.
