Question ID: 447201
Purchased a Viking Refrigerator in Alaska 6 months ago(for
$8,000.00!), which has several open warranty items pending resolution.
Meanwhile, the water filter broke, leaked, and caused water damage to
my kitchen floor, and basement drywall, and possibly some electrical.
This is a brand new house. Are my rights to recover the cost of these
incidental and consequential damages from the manufacturer restricted
by Alaska warranty law? Please advise. Thank you. Helene
