I'm trying to reconstruct the growth of Yahoo in its early years.

I have been unable to track down employee numbers for the period
between its IPO and the year 1999.

According to the link below, Yahoo had 49 employees at its IPO in April 1996.

This article gives headcount as 1728 for Sept 30, 1999:

*I am looking for any headcount data between these two dates.*

I have already tried:
- Yahoo Annual Reports (they don't give headcounts for this time period)
- The Wayback Machine ("About Yahoo" pages on www.yahoo.com don't give
headcounts during this period)
