Are you certain this group is in Austin? The Texas Center for Music and Medicine specializes in musicians' medical problems, but it's located in Fort Worth: http://www.hsc.unt.edu/research/ifd/music_medicine/welcome.html There's a famous hand surgery center in San Antonio: http://www.handcentersa.com/ |

Thank you for the links- I am sure there was a group in Austin. Maybe it's defunct now. |

Hello - If your problem is soreness, tenderness, tendonitis, carpal-tunnel syndrome, or anything related, I highly recommend checking out a product called Flextend (flextend.com). I'm a pianist and frequent computer user who had carpal-tunnel-like problems in my wrists, soreness in my hands, forearm and elbow (I wore a splint all the time). I could hardly use the computer or piano anymore. I found this product on the net after searching for a means of relief. Insurance companies can reimburse you for it and they have a guarantee (which is one of the reasons I tried it). It's used in rehabilitative clinics. It completely (completely) fixed literally everything. I have no more pain anywhere. Check it out. p1212 |

Willie Nelson lives in Austin, but he had his carpal tunnel surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. |
