I realize there may not be ample information available on the web. But
perhaps some other sources are available to assist with the answer to
my question for the resourceful reasearcher.

I'm somewhat disappointed that nobody has even given my question a
stab. I can answer part of it but want to see what the experts come up
with. I assume you understand the just of my question - i.e. Would
cultivation of rambutan in Belize be a potentially profitable endeavor
? Would another fruit/vegetable/herb that has a ready market in the
United States be potentially more profitable ? Land (85 acres in very
fertile area) is already paid for so no need to factor that into the
equation. My overall goal is to put the land to productive/profitable
use via farming of a worthwhile fruit/vegetable/herb that has a ready
market.

I will gladly pay the $ 100 for a good faith effort by a researcher
who knows what he or she is doing.
