I have a pc running a asus 7800 gtx graphics card. I purchased an Apple 30" monitor today but cannot get the monitor to operate at anything greater than 1280 / 800. How do I get the monitor to operate properly. |

The Apple 30" has a max resolution of 2560 / 1600. The card can do this easily. The problem is a function of a missing driver or some hardware mishap. However - despite having an educated guess about this - I am looking for some more concrete advice / knowledge as to what is wrong. |

Perhaps you could go here and download the drivers for the 20" or 23" Apple display and see if this helps you. I realize you said that you have the 30", good for you, you probably get lost in that display. This is the closest driver I could find for your hardware: http://www.chait.net/index.php?p=46 Steve |

snevey-ga Thank you for this link - clarification has resulted. I think the problem is that while I have a top end card the link is not a dual link dvi. |
