trig-ga,

Must is be a university-based online dictionary?

I am certainly aware of online resources that can look up a word based
on its definition, but I don't know of any that are university-based.

Let me know what you think.

Hello again:
While any such resource would be helpful, just within the last week I
read in one of the many magazines I subscribe to about a university?s
dictionary that, I believe recently - but could be wrong about the
time frame - publishes an online excellent reverse look-up by
definition dictionary; finding the name of that particular one would
be my preference. I believe it was an Ivy League university, but
could also have been Oxford, or some other well knmown university

I looked, but didn't see any items about a new university-based reverse dictionary.

However, here's a link to the one that I'm familiar with:

OneLook Reverse Dictionary

It's fun to play around with, if nothing else. Perhaps someone will
still be able to pin down the university system you asked about.

Cheers,

Thanks pafalafa-ga:
That's helpful and looks interesting, but not the one I was looking for.
