Yes. Nothing inherent to Dell which would prevent this. Easiest with USB and XP. If running 98(SE) or ME, you will probably have to install a driver which should come with the drive. But check CD specifications first for suitability. Best |

Yes, you can attach a external cd burner to a dell, and it will probably require something simple to conntect with like a USB port. Every dell should have one, so don't worry about that. Also, if you bought an external cd burner, then unless it came with a cable, you would have to buy one. Also, you will need to install the driver that probably came with the cd burner. An optional extra would be a program to burn custom cds. I suggest roxio toast 6 titanium that you can buy off of the following link: http://www.roxio.com/en/products/toast/index.jhtml |

Of coarse.. easiest way to check to is on the box where it says windows compatible... but yes most likly it will require a usb connection |
