The movie is a few years old,perhaps 13-15 years old. The two main
characters are Krystal & Spencer. It is a love story. Krystal gets
pregnant. Krystal finds out that Spencer is seeing another woman. She
runs away. Spencer marries his new woman. Spencer searches for
Krystal,as he is not really in love with
new woman. She had seduced Spencer and gave him job in order to secure marriage.
Spencer finds Krystal with his son that he did not know was his. He talks to son
who talks about his mother Krystal. Spencer then realizes that the son is his.
He then gets back with Krystal.

I think you may be remembering a made-for-television movie called
"Star" (also known as "Danielle Steel's Star").
Here's a brief summary of the plot:

Thanks for response Pinkfreud.I was asking on behalf of someone
else.She is not sure now but does not think that this is the movie.
She does not remember Crystal being a singer at all, rather an office
worker and is sure it was spelt with a K anyway. She is pretty vague
on it unfortunately but when she remembers more we may try and
rephrase question with more information.

Pink One,
With link you provided I have now purchased the video; it
was so cheap I thought I may as well. At least then she can see the
movie, the Danielle Steele one, which if the right one,apparently was
for her a very good film which moved her emotionally.

I have done some more searching, but I can't find any other movie that
sounds right. You might mention to your friend that, in "Danielle
Steel's Star," the child that Crystal conceives with Spencer is named
Zeb. Maybe that will ring a bell. Here are some more plot details:
