I am looking for the lyrics, author and singers of a song I think
called "Souvenirs". One line goes "Souvenirs stay with you
forever","Yes they'll see youthrough the good times and the bad".

This song was popular in the 50s, maybe the 60s

Thanks

The dates don't much, but the late Canadian country singer Colleen
Peterson wrote and recorded a song called Souvenirs on an LP in 1976.
The only reference I have been able to find to lyrics to that song is
this one:

"Colleen Peterson - Souvenir
Beginning to Feel Like Home - EMI Canada
"Souvenirs they stay with you forever,
See you through the good times and the bad"

The LP was called "Beginning to Feel Like Home," and it appears to
have been released on an EMI CD in Canada. That CD is apparently now
out of print but is available on the online used CD market and
apparently at amazon.co.uk (but not, for some reason, at amazon.ca).

My question for you is whether this is the song and performer that you
remember, so that I should continue to look for the lyrics and/or an
audio clip of the song.

Typo correction:

The first phrase of my request should read "The dates don't match."
