Greetings! After extensive searching and perusal of link descriptions,
I found the hospital business uses phonemic awareness programs. I
then searched the phrase "phonemic awareness hospitals" and found that
Miami Children's Hospital is in partnership with Lindamood-Bell
Learning Processes to be the provider of educational services at the
Miami Children's Hospital Dan Marino Center.
From a press release on the partnership:
"This facility, the first of its kind is created as an integrated
pediatric outpatient facilitator is designed to treat the whole child.
All children, with special emphasis on those with developmental
disabilities and chronic medical problems, receive the most
comprehensive and integrated treatment available."
I also searched "phonemic program day care" and found a listing for
the Rochester Hearing and Speech Center (also a business). I also
searched "phonemic program corporate day care" but found no listing
for that area.
In addition, there are numerous schools that use in in their
kindergarten programs but I didn't think a school would fit the
"business" criteria even though the US school system does seem like a
business from time to time. If you would like some of those listings,
please ask for clarification and I will post some for you, or search
"phonemic awareness schools" (or see link below for that search
return.
