I JUST BOUGHT A GATEWAY 500 COMPUTER WITH A DVD PLAYER -- THE DVD COLOR IS BAD SO I CAN'T SEE THE MOVIE PROPERLY -- WHERE DO I GO TO DOWNLOAD THE PROPER SOFTWARE FOR MY COMPUTER SO I CAN SEE THE DVD ON MY COMPUTER? I TRIED THE COLOR KNOB ON MY COMPUTER BUT THAT DIDN'T WORK. THANKS, JOY |

The DVD player software may have an adjustment for brightness in its properties set-up. Owain |

You have to go to the video card controls. Right click anywhere on the screen to bring up the Display Properties menu. Go to Settings -> Advanced -> Color or Settings -> Advanced -> Overlay. (Both "Color" and "Overlay" may be there on different tabs) Play with the color settings while watching the DVD. |
