People?s Republic of China, 1978: I need an array of per capita statistics to demonstrate what life was like for the average Chinese in 1978. Anything you can come up with would be useful. For example, how many cars, TV?s, newspapers, movie theaters and so on were there? Please also cite the source. |

In 1978 millions of Chinese were attemmpting to put their lives back together after the terrible ten years of the Cultural Revolution, which officially ended in 1977; and "what life was like" may not be fully reflected in statistics of TVs, cars etc. |

You probably have a better chance of getting an answer if you raise the price of your question (see FAQs). An array of statistics will require some searching. |
