I am seeking a CD-ROM or downloadable traditional Jewish prayer book
(siddur) in Hebrew according to the Sephardic/Oriental rite for under
$100. I must be able to copy it into my word-processing software, so
a graphic file is NOT acceptable. It must contain the prayers
according to the customs of the Sephardim and Eastern Communities
("minhag sefardim"), so "nusach ashkenaz" OR "nusach sefard" are NOT
acceptable. (Many retailers are not careful to distinguish between
"nusach sefard" -- used generally by chasidim -- and "minhag sefardim"
which is used by Sephardic and Eastern Jews (of North Africa, Iraq,
etc.) If you find something which just says "siddur" or "prayer book"
without specifying "Sephardic", then it is almost certainly NOT what I
need.
Can you tell me where I can purchase this without spending more than
$100? (The one source I have found is the Torah CD-ROM Library, but
it is only available compiled with lots of other stuff for almost
$400. DavkaWriter Dimensions has only "Ashkenaz and Sefard formats".)
Thanks very much. |
