I am having a 1920s, flapper style wedding and need a flapper-style or
20s/30s style dress - the hitch is that I don't want authentic
vintage. It does not need to be a wedding dress, per se.

I've done innumberable searches, with spotty and inconsistent results.
 I must be a bit off on the search terms or maybe I'm not using the
right kind of search engine?  I've been using Google.  Tried  Froogle
- got a ton of link farm sites - so many that it proved almost useless
since nearly every page I clicked on yielded something other than the
dress I thought I would see.

Here is what I am hoping to find:

Inspired by the 1920s
Inspired by the 1930s
Inpsired by flapper style
Vintage reproduction of any of the above terms. 

Exclusions:
Not black
Not 'true vintage' (quality, sizing, and wearability issues)

I've tried drilling down on ebay into the depression era, <insert
appropriate dates here>, but I find that to be only moderately
helpful.

Am I missing something here, or is this question just not designed for the web?
