Is there a way to set the protocol used when sending mail directly
"using the CDO 2000 library built in to the Windows operating system"
(don't know what this means)?
We run an application that sends mail this way, to an SMTP server that
requires authentication. One network users gets through (log shows
EHLO was used) and the other doesn't (log shows the server asking for
EHLO, net getting it and closing down the connection). It is not
workstation-related, the application logon doesn't affect it either -
ONLY ONE network user can send authenticated mail succesfully.
We tried cloning this account - didn't work. Changing authorization
levels (eg from user to administrator- doesn't work either.
We use Windows Small Business Server 2003 and XP Pro workstations.
