Where is an online degree program that doesn't require a PC? I have a Mac and am not looking to buy a PC just to take online courses. | |

Why do you need a PC for online course? Is it because you can't hit the URL with your Mac browser, which doesn't sound right to me? Or is it because you need Word compatibility and think that is not available on a Mac because Word is written for the PC? If that is the problem, google for openoffice.org and specify the Macintosh platform. That should give you Word compatibility. However, since this is important, dig through the FAQ on openoffice.org and see if it explains this in detail before you try something that does not work. Let me say in plain English that OpenOffice.org is a free word processor which is specifically implemented for maximum compatiblity for MS office programs -- unless MS has something new that I don't know about. Anyway, I apologize if my answer is not relevant. |
