Hi! Thanks for the question. Yes you can open an account at Ameritrade if you are from Serbia Montenegro. As a foreigner, you will need to do the following steps: 1. Open an account online. Go to the following page: https://wwwna.ameritrade.com/cgi-bin/apps/AccountApServlet?segment=ameritrade 2. Follow the instructions in opening an account. 3. You will need to send by mail a paper copy of the following documents: a. Account Application b. Copy of your passport c. W8-Ben tax Form I got this information by using Ameritrade?s online chat with an accounts representative and they gave me this instruction. The representative said that the online application will walk you through the entire process. If you are having some trouble I suggest that you click the ?Chat with a New Accounts Representative? in the link I gave above. You can get live help by chatting from someone at Ameritrade. Search strategy: Inquired at the Ameritrade website I hope this link would help you in your research. Before rating this answer, please ask for a clarification if you have a question or if you would need further information. Regards, Easterangel-ga Google Answers Researcher | |
