1991 Lincoln Town Car, runs good when first started, but as engine
warms up oil light comes on and engine begins to make a tapping noise.
What could be the problem?

When the oil heats up it thins, so the fault becomes more apparent.
Either it?s not circulating properly (oil filter, oil pump etc) or
something is horribly worn. Recommend you don?t run the vehicle
further than the nearest garage (repair shop).
