winter1234,
Failed to find requested ?background song? after extensive search.

Suggest you email & ask the ?press & public relations? company
(representing the ?Academy of Television Arts & Sciences?) listed
here:
http://www.emmys.com/contact/index.php

Have established that the music director?s name is Harold Wheeler (1)
with a listing of some of his work here:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0923836/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnxteD0yMHxzZz0xfGxtPTIwMHx0dD1vbnxwbj0wfHE9aGFyb2xkIHdoZWVsZXJ8aHRtbD0xfG5tPW9u;fc=1;ft=14

Public release for the award itself is here:

I actually did contact someone from the emmy's website and they
weren't able to help me. They didn't have access to the music credits
or some such thing. I believe the song was also on a black and white
Ivory soap commercial where there is a little girl in the bath tub and
I think recently on a Pier One Imports commercial if that helps anyone
answer.
