the name of the company) directly and I assume you are talking about

There's different sizes available for different types of dogs:
Size 0: e.g. for Yorkshire Terrier and Miniature Poodle
Size 1: e.g. for Whippet, Jack Russel and Teckel
Size 2: e.g. for Border Collie, Beagle und Poodle
Size 3: e.g. for Labrador, Boxer, Setter and Retriever
Size 4: e.g. for Rottweiler, Mastiff und Saint Bernard.
There is another kind of boot available from Trixie

again there are different sizes (about the same categorization as
above)
If you use the Babelfish service from Altavista (

Can you specify which product and size you require? I would also
require to know if you need to be able to buy the product locally
(where?) or if you would want to mail order it from Germany? Are you
by chance interested in wholesale (in which case I would have to refer
you to the manufacturer directly)?

I require the Trixie Size 2 . I would like to buy the boot locally if
available or by mail order from Germany, I have no preference. I live
in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA & have purchased the boot from
PetSmart in the past but have not been able to find it for some time
now. I am a retail buyer and only require the boots for my personally
owned dog.

Hello smirk!
I wrote to Trixie's sales department and asked them if there is a
store in your vicinity they are selling to. They'll probably get back
to me tomorrow morning (it's already past their business hours).
I still need to know though which of the two versions I mentioned in
my previous clarification request you want (both have links with
pictures attached, so you can have a look at them). Both the
"Hundeschutzstiefel" and the "Walker Boots" are sold under the Trixie
brand name.
I will get back to you as soon as they reply.

Hallo Smick!
I talked to Trixie's Export Division and was told that they don't sell
these products to any company in North America at the moment. I also
inquired if there's a company that might sell the products worldwide
from Germany. They answered that they know that some do sell them to
European Union countries, however they don't know any that do sell
worldwide.
I checked about 50 different online stores. They either sell the
product, but don't ship worldwide or they ship worldwide but don't
sell the product. I think it might be possible to actually get one of
the smaller local shops to send it to you (after all there are about
7000 on Trixie's reseller list). However it would be necessary to
inquire by phone and phone calls are not for free here.
As to your suggestion of me getting them for you:
Under Google Answers' guidelines, all researchers (and customers) use
anonymous nicknames and cannot reveal or exchange personal contact
information. This makes it impossible for researchers to act as
intermediaries in any kind of sales transaction.
Although researchers can provide accurate information that will show
you where and how to purchase a particular item, we have no authority
to negotiate or arrange any purchase for you. It is up to you, as the
buyer, to make any final purchasing arrangements with the seller.

Thank you for your help with this problem. I misunderstood your
question regarding the type & size of boot I require, I thought you
needed to know so that you could get it for me but I understand why
you can not. However, I would like to get a copy of the reseller list
so that I could make further inquiries and possibly find a retail
source near me that would sell to me directly.

Here's how you can get to the contact list:
Go to http://www.trixie.de/tr/SBIrpLuPJpxKTDO7NjH7SAJ5lzZyJekpLuPHVyfxk/newLayout/index.html
In the field "Postleitzahl" enter the number 1 and you will get the
list for zip code area 1 (all German zip codes). Do the same with the
numbers 2 to 9.
They don't have foreign partners listed online, however you might want
to talk to Boy Tadsen who is the Export Manager for the company. You

I hope you'll find somebody who'll send you the boots! I posted
everything as a request for clarification, so you won't have to pay
for any of the research provided because it didn't actually answer
your question.
