Japan's post war economic perfonance was exceptional (was this in reality, the case?) what were the major sources of Japan's miracle performance and what went wrong in the 90's. How do the basic characteristics of the economy lead to this, do 'accounting for economic growth' and 'beyond accounting for economic growth' statistics back up the facts? what are the distinctive features regarding the Employment, financial, Industrial Organisation and Government systems in the japanese economy that could contribute to exceptional growth during its Golden age? |
