(I posted this a few months ago for $3, then for $10, then for $20 and
am upping my price to $30 now.)

Years ago, in the wake of the 1986 USFL - NFL antitrust case (in which
the USFL won a symbolic $3 decision), the Late Show with David
Letterman ran a Top Ten list of the top ten things the USFL could have
settled for out of court.  I remember that one of the items on the
list was a large fries, and that another was a ride home from the
courhouse.  I'd love the full list.

I've had a look at the official CBS archive of Top 10 lists located at:

It appears they only go back to 1993 - a search for USFL yielded only
a single result:
