I would like to find out how specifically to adopt a child under 8 years old who has been orphaned in the recent Tsunami in South Asia. I live in Denver, CO, USA. |

Just a thought: it would be SO much better for them if they could be adopted in groups of two or more. Imagine the difficulty of dealing with PTSD and being brought to an entirely different culture with not one scrap of familiarity. I wonder if the US will accept refugees? We will see, anyway, from my somewhat limited experience with adoptions from foreign countries, they seem to thrive more if they are adopted with siblings, friends if no siblings survived. Just a thought. |
