Howdy becky41-ga, The Forbes.com web site has a great section on in their "America's Most (And Least) Efficient Charities" special report by William P. Barrett. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2004/11/23/04charityland.html Click on the "Commitment" menu selection to get a list of 200 charities, 25 at a time, sorted by the percentage of money (excluding management, overhead and fundraising) that actually went to the purpose of the charity. 100% is the best (Children's Hunger Fund, etc.) but there are other factors that are listed that you should take into account. You can click on the name of the charity for more information, including web site addresses, etc. If you need any clarification, feel free to ask. Search strategy: Google search on: best charity list ://www.google.com/search?q=best+charity+list Looking Forward, denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher | |
