Question ID: 449706
I am interested in finding public records for a Santa Cruz County (CA,
USA) Superior Civil Court proceeding. These are public records that I
can get at the Santa Cruz County courthouse; I would just like to
access them via the internet.
I am interested in Santa Cruz County Civil Superior Court Case #
CV147985 and CV147798. I am particularly interested in the original
'Compliant' from the Plantiff (Patricia Perry) and the "Answer" or
"Response" from the Defendants: Brian Clayton and Downey Savings and
Loan.
Is this available anywhere on the web?
Thank you,
Josh Defosset

Josh,

The answer to your question appears to be "Yes and No".

The court DOES have an online system to access case information by
case #. I pulled up the records for CV147985 to have a look. The
online information includes the docket -- which is a list of all the
parties involved, and the documents and proceedings in the case. The
docket includes SOME links to more detailed information on SOME of the
documents, but it's hit or miss as to whether the information will
meet your needs.

For instance, there's this:
