Have you try installing the latest MDAC?

http://www.microsoft.com/data/download_260rtm.htm

Also go to C:\WINNT\system32, do a dir mstext*.dll

and manually register all of them using regsvr32.

Let me know if this works. Thanks.

Hey there,
I've found an article in Microsoft's Knowledge base at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q107672& which
deals with your error message in VB. The problem is, however, that
this KB article is for VB 3. Still, you might find what you're looking
for here.

I found this by searching for VB "Couldn't find installable ISAM",
it's the first link. Also, of interest might be this link from the
p2p.wrox.com - vb_howto archive
(http://p2p.wrox.com/archive/vb_howto/2001-01/20.asp), which includes
a link to another MS KB article
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q257819&). I
realize that this article deals with using Excel as a data source, but
you might find some help here.

Hope that helps!
