Please help me locate a physician whose last name might have changed due to marriage. Patricia Steadman, M.D. (the last known name) is a licensed physician who practiced medicine in either North or South Carolina (last known state of residence). I believe that it is South Carolina in or near Charleston. My search on the internet and other avenues has not been successful. If you find a contact # you can send it to me or have her call me: Paul Warshawsky, M.D. 847-612-9658. I need to reach her regarding some patients she treated that might have an infectious disease. I need to track down all the contact patients and doctors involved to report them to the appropriate local health agency. I don't want or need information on where to locate people and pay for the service to have this done. I am asking if you can locate Patricia Steadman, M.D. for me using your skills. My price is $20 if you give me the doctor's contact information: Specifically the phone # that can be confirmed by me calling the doctor to make sure it is the correct doctor (Patricia Steadman, M.D. or Patricia (something else because she changed the last name)or have the doctor contact me. The doctor's specialty is either internal medicine or family practice. Again, I need to actually be put in touch by phone with the doctor to be satisfied and pay $20 and not told "how", "where to go", "what to do" to find a doctor whose last name might have changed. Thank you, Paul Warshawsky, M.D. 847-612-9658 | |

I have found no "Steadman" connection, but there is a Dr. Patricia S. Gerber in Charleston, SC who is an allegist or immunologist. Her business contact information is: National Allergy Center of Charleston 9165 University Boulevard Charleston, SC 29496 Tel: 843-797-8162 Trident Health System: Directory http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:v4LFDcTTlXAJ:www.tridenthealthsystem.com/PhysRefResultsReport.asp+%22patricia++s+*+md%22+sc&hl=en There is at least one another Patricia with a "S." for a middle initial in the region, and she in family practice in Charlotte , NC Patricia S. White CMC Eastland Family Practice 5516 Central Avenue Charlotte NC 28212 704-446-1000 Contact Info http://www.carolinashealthcare.org/facilities/cpn/locations.nos?practice_id=118 Physician Detail http://www.carolinas.org/facilities/cpn/phys_details_card.nos?physician_id=325&NoRedirect=1 |

Dear Google: Thank you for trying to answer my question and please do continue, however, markj-ga gave me an inappropriate content: He provided me with no last name of Steadman with contact information for the doctor that I requested - I called both doctors and neither is the correct person: The S, representing a middle initial, does not correspond to the last names given in the response. In my question I did not provide a request for middle initials S. If a person, consistent with my question to google changes her last name from Steadman to something else, the last name does not become the middle initial. What happens is either the name becomes hyphenated or added as a complete name. I am going to ask Mark to continue his search, especially on Monday. Today is a holiday and tomorrow is Sunday when offices/agencies are closed. What is needed is a search for medical agencies, organizations that keep track of physicians such as Patricia Steadman who may or may not have changed her last name. The AMA, American College of Physicians, The American College of Family Physicians (the doctor is probably either in the specialty of Family Practice or Internal Medicine). These organizations will, hopefully, search their databases and give my contact information to the doctor to contact me or give the contact information to me directly so I can contact the doctor myself. Thank you Mark and Google. Please continue to try to help find the answer. Paul -- Thank you for your comment. I will look further, but I invite other researchers to jump in on this question as well. Incidentally, I considered the middle initial to be a clue (and the best one I could find) because my wife uses her "maiden name" initial as her middle initial, and I think it is reasonable to assume that lots of other women (at least those of "a certain age") do so as well. markj-ga |

In this case from what I've "heard" this doctor's last name of Steadman is from her lst marriage - she may still have this last name or have re-married and have a new last name. Thank you for re-reading the previously sent comment and following-up on Monday: "I am going to ask Mark to continue his search, especially on Monday.
