Hello,

I am looking to buy a new high powered radio.  When I am in New
Jersey, my radio very vaguely gets some of my New York stations, so I
was hoping to buy a special radio that would be strong enough to pick
up better signals...

My radio would hopefully be as small as possible, but again, being
able to pick up stations at a further distance is the most important
thing to me.

Where could I find a high powered radio?

what kind of radio are you looking for?
 - a portable radio
or
 - a small (relatively) fixed radio

For the latter, an external antenna for your existing radio may help
more than a "more powerful" radio.

Please clarify what you need in a little more detail (e.g., if you can
use a separate antenna).

I am looking for a portable radio, one that I could travel with.  I'd
prefer not to use a seperate antena, I just want to buy a very high
powered radio.  Hope that helped...
