I am trying to locate lyrics or recording of a song my mother sang
when I was a child.  It was of the folk/hillbilly genre.  Lyrics:

"Nell and I had quarreled, as young lovers do.  

She received a letter from an old sweetheart
Dear I'm so sorry that we've grown apart.

Come and kiss me darling and let's be friends again.

It was from her sister who had gone astray."
