Kraigster --

The New Yorker is online since 1980 via some subscription services
that are commonly available at many public libraries. I don't see any
reference to the earlier version online using the following Google
search:
"kentucky fried" "new yorker"

But there's something in the current issue that works in those search terms:
http://www.newyorker.com/goingson/web/

Best regards,
