I can answer only for a couple of operations I have been involved in. Taking a sample of 10,000 calls, the most common element (42%) was connectivity problems, which includes both dial-up and networking problems. Of the remainder, Outlook was the most commonly mentioned specific application, followed by "browser problem" (sorry, no stats on which browser but IE is probably the majority. The calls which ate up the most time per call were security/virus calls which includes problems in setup or maintenance of antivirus software. Looking at hardare, displays get the highest number of calls, followed by keyboads. |
