Hi Kathy,

A trace of this address yielded the machine name that last used it, as
well as the service provider. If you have experienced any misconduct
or illegal activity originating from this IP address, you can use this
information to lodge a complaint against the individual via the
service provider.

Would you like me to post my findings as an answer?

Hi Answer Guru,
I got as far as pcp847725pcs.cphaze01.fl.comcast.net, but I was hoping
you would get further. Yes, there is illegal activity and the police
are involved, but it is taking them a long time and I was trying to
come up with some answers.

Thank you,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

If you are merchant, I can provide you with a means to find out the
city where the computer is located but not the street address.

If you would like me to post that as an answer, please let me know.

I know the computer is in the Cape Haze, Florida area, which is just
south of the area that I live in.

Yes - I was able to get as far as Cape Haze as well. The only way to
obtain the street address would be to subpeona the records of the ISP
(Comcast) in order to release client information.

Good luck in your quest!

Interesting, Cape Haze isn't what I get. Sorry I can't be more
forthcoming but you have to be a member to use the tools on the site.

Thank you both. I realize I will have to be patient with the police
and let them subpoena the internet provider.
