Where can I find the file schedule.ocx, and activex control by
Addsoft. The company website has shut down and the company may be out
of business, but the product above should still be sitting on ftp
servers somewhere.

Hi Bruce --

I found it, thanks to the Wayback Machine!

Internet Archive copy of Addsoft's ScheduleOCX product page,
04/05/2001:
[ http://web.archive.org/web/20010405155157/www.addsoft.com/ScheduleOCX/SchedOCX.htm
]

Amazingly, the download link does work, and I was able to get the
3.5MB SchedOCX.exe file. The snapshot of that page was taken
04/05/2001, and it says that it's version 2.16.

There's supposedly a version 2.18 from a snapshot of the same page
taken over a year prior.

Internet Archive copy of Addsoft's ScheduleOCX product page,
03/01/2000:
[ http://web.archive.org/web/20000301130426/www.addsoft.com/ScheduleOCX/SchedOCX.htm
]

But the file sizes look identical, so I suspect it's just a typo of
some kind.

You can use this in Demo mode (enter DEMO when prompted for a serial
number), but there's no information about what restrictions that might
have.

There are some pages that has purport to have a valid serial numbers
for versions 2.18, 2.16 *and* 2.17 of the software. Since the company
appears to be out of business, it *might* be legal to use, but I am
not a lawyer, so you use this information at your own risk.

Google-cached pages with serial numbers:

]

Hope this helps, and that nobody gets in trouble.  :-}

Just a very important followup. I am told that the file size for
schedule.ocx is 3.5 mb. This is strange because the file I am
downloading from the page supplied gives me a 1.57 mb. file that will
not run. What gives?

Bruce--

You should try downloading again. I was able to obtain a 3.5MB file,
although it wouldn't run. Was unable to find Internet Archive's
policy on the reliability of non-web files (in this case an EXE file)
downloaded from their site.

Hey there,

I've found a computer store in Australia that claims to have a copy of
this software in stock
(http://www.pcsol.com.au/Software%20Utilities.htm). Problem is, from
reading their payment FAQ (http://www.pcsol.com.au/Payment.htm) it
appears that they only sell to customers in Australia. Their contact
information can be found at the top of any page of their site in case
you'd like to get in touch with them.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help, but I still need the file. It's a great control,
and I know that it is still being heavily used, but just can't find it
anywhere to download.
