Hi rndgroup, I'm not sure exactly what angle you are reseaching regarding software copy-protection methodology. As Far as "In Print" books, the only one I can recommend is: No Starch Press - Crackproof Your Software: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1886411794/002-2887136-5992813?v=glance Mainstream documentation tends to lag farily far behind what it going on in the 'underground' versus 'developers' arms race of content locking/lockpicking. Rather than link you to any 'grey-area' parts of the internet where this sort of discussion takes place, I would suggest that either side of the coin will require some assembler knowledge, so it might be prudent to familiarize yourself with that subject before you delve into software protection.
