we use small business server with exchange + outlook 2003
I work on a few computers and each of them has my ost file - mail,
calendar, tasks and memos sync and this is great - the problem is that
the shortcuts do not sync... very annoying - how do I solve this?

also - can I put a small exe file there? I have a little program
called "passbook" that I use to store all my passwords and it would be
great if I can have the program sync between the computers instead of
me having to type the new info over and over

You cannot sync your shortcuts via Exchange. This capability is just
not supported by Exchange.

As for the exe file, you could put it in one of your folders under
your Mailbox - that would make it sync. But, remember that Outlook
won't allow you to access .exe files - it blocks it. A 3rd party FREE
utility to unblock .exe's:

Although it is not possible to sync directly, you might be able to do
it at the touch of a button with a macro in vbscript. One button could
save the shortcuts to the exchange server as a file. The other button
could retrieve them. I am not sure how important this is to you as
this would take some programming but...If it is you could search for
code here: http://www.outlookcode.com/.
