I am connected using a dhcp server - many times when I connect to our small business server I can't surf the net - if I disconnect the "connection to the small business server" then I can surf again... what can this be? also - my outlook ( 2003 ) keeps hanging - I need to right click on the synchronization icon and select "cancel server request" in order to get it back to work... what is wrong? it used to work fine thanks |

I think you mean that you're connecting via VPN to your SBS server from home or some other remote location? To be able to surf the web again, here are the instructions: 1) Right click on your VPN connection icon. Click on Properties. 2) Click on the "Networking" Tab. Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to highlight it and click on "Properties". 3) On the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties" window, click on "Advanced". 4) On the "Advanced TCP/IP Settings" window, under the "General" tab, UNCHECK the box for "Use default gateway on remote network". That should do it! |
