Zeee,

If possible, could you give us a few more details:

1. Are you sure about the spelling of the name "Madeleine Fauth"? Have
you seen any books or magazine articles mentioning this name?

2. When you say "vintage", is there a particular time period when this
designer was most active? The 1920's, 30's, 40's, etc.?

3. Did she do any work for movies of this time?

4. Was she an American or European designer?

Thank you,
Huntsman

The spelling of the name is correct. this was taken from a label.

i do not know how long she was active. the vintage piece that i have
is possibly 50's-60'.

i assume that she was a american designer as the label indicates
american mfg.

Please clarify--are you trying to find biographical information about
Madeleine or her relatives to find out if she is still living or a
phone number/address for her, or are you searching for her for
business reasons--perhaps information about whether she is still
designing hats, etc.?

SINCERELY,
