l will like to know how Analogue and Digital fuel pumps work. The differences ad similarities between them and the applicaton of a seven segmet display in the digital fuel pump.l will be glad if l could get a quick respondce because l'm submitting it fr a term paper fr my project. |

Well the basic differences between digital and analog are "basically" that the Analog signals are pulses from a mag pick up that read position, and cause the pump to actuate every 360 degrees. Digital uses a similar method except that it uses voltage and sends a lose of voltage signal to a electronic control module which transfers it digitally to the pump. Well anyway thats basically it with out knowing exactly what the pumps are on. The 7 segment display is just Liquid Crystal Displays of digital input only. |
