I need to know the top 10 tourist destination world cities (all travelers, domestic and international). I need only the cities with the most visitors, not countries. |

I know Amsterdam had appr. 9.000.000 visitors in 2003. So, dunno where that one should be on the list, but maybe it helps...... |

I suppose that is Amsterdam, Holand/Netherlands. Orlando, Florida, USA is likely in the top ten, even though Disney World is about ten miles outside the city limits. Also in the USA, New York City, and New Orleans, Loisiana. Major bus, air, and rail hubs are in Chicago, Illinois, Washington DC, Atlanta, Georgia, Los Angeles, California, San Francisco, California, so I guess these count as throughput even if the travelers did not want to pass through these hubs. Dallis/Fort Worth, Texas might make the top ten, if you can ignore that it is two separate cities. Accurate numbers are difficult as people who travel between the city and suburbs are likely to be counted up to 600 times per year as they travel to and from work etc. Neil |
