I have an intranet web application where I have access to our customer database (this application is written in Java/JSP, but I don't think it should matter). My problem is I want to be able to click a single button and "post" all the customer address information and get back a completed fedex packing slip (WITH FedEx tracking number and barcode) and be able to print it, slap it on a package and drop it in a FedEx mail pickup box. I need to know the tracking number at this time, so I can enter it back into my system. FedEx has a bunch of API documentation and related information (although I think it is very poorly organized), but I do not have the ability to implement it. A custom programming solution is way out of my budget. |
