I would like to know the difference between a Pedestrian access
easement and a pedestrian public access easement.

Easement in question is in estate in Gold Coast Queensland. The
easement is granted to the council but is pedestrian access easement.
In all other common areas the easements are marked as pedestrian
public access easement. Does this mean the easement on our land is
only for residents living in the whole estate or only the residents
living in our street or is it all of the above plus the general
public. The estate has a body corporate in place.

Better specify the Country and possibly State

My understanding is that generally an 'easement' is granting a right of way
- however such things are likely to vary by locale
