My wife came to the US 2 years ago after completing her MBA from a
university in India. She has very limited work experience in India.
Her current goal is to join a corporate at an entry level and
cultivate a career path.
We have tried online sites of many corporations and internet job
engines and our hit rate of target jobs has been very low probably
because she does not have a US degree or work experience. (She has
done a few internships in the US in the last year). We have
spent a lot of time networking as well and unfortunately have not been
successful.
We are looking for a solid career counselor and a place agent in the
NYC area who can help her focus on a career and help with job
placement. These can be 2 different people. The answer should have
personal recommendation/personal invitations to meet specfic people at
specific organizations who can help her. We do not want to just drop a
resume in another email box. We need to discuss our situation with the
best in the field who can help get her on a meaningful career track.
We are not looking for general internet help or a book recommendation.
