Fluorine off course (atomic no. = 9) If another planet is discovered it will change to Neon Otherwise if the IAU decides Pluto is not a Planet it will tranmute to oxygen Voila! Mongolia |

There is no way to count the ?protons and neutrons? in the sun but if we assume that it is a rest state atom (not an ion or isotope) and the planets equate to the number of electrons, which equates to the number of protons, then we would be fluorine if we didn?t count the asteroids and neon if we did. There are nine planets in the solar system and ten if you count the asteroids, so atomic No. 9 = fluorine and atomic No.10 = neon. See table below: ATOMIC No. EELMENT SYMBOL MNEMONIC PLANET 1 Hydrogen H - Mercury 2 Helium He - Venus 3 Lithium Li Little Earth 4 Beryllium Be Betty?s Mars 5 Boron B Brothel Saturn 6 Carbon C Can Jupiter 7 Nitrogen N Not Neptune 8 Oxygen O Open Uranus 9 Fluorine F For Pluto 10 Neon Ne Nothing (Asteroids) |

In my rush to answer the question I have just stiffed a researcher out of a fairly easy $5. Sorry I wont let it happen again. When I get my credit card sorted out I will let you make some money out of me. Btw is there any way to ask questions in ga without having a credit card (other methods of payment). If you wish you may reply to my e-mail address. Regards capitainformidable. |

Captain, What a guy! Your last comment has been a topic of debate. There are two trains of thought on your commendable thoughtfulness of offering a windfall also. And you reckon that was an easy question? Remind me not to challenge you to a game of chess. Phil |

Assuming the Sun is a single Proton and the planets Electrons, then we would be a very confused Hydrogen atom |
